Sailor V Gundam

Description

First and foremost, please take a grain of salt my average photo-manipulation (which is especially evident in the shoulder armor). I'd like to see someone try matching the shoulder armor with the white on the rest of the figure, though. :p

This is a modified image of the 1/144-scaled Nobel Gundam figure of the Gundam Fix Figuration lineup (#0029), courtesy of Bandai and Hajime Katoki. It's pretty obvious Nobel Gundam was inspired by the Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon anime/manga. While people call it the Sailor Moon Gundam (I prefer no first space and a lowercase M), I think Katoki was more inspired by the main lead of BSSM's prequel, Sailor V. Which is why I prefer dubbing it the Sailor V Gundam (it doesn't take too much modification to help spell out how similar it looks to Sailor V), and thus one of the major reasons why I made this image. The other reason is that I saw images of modified Nobel Gundam MSiA (Mobile Suit in Action) figures looking like the Sailor Senshi, which inspired me. And it doesn't hurt to make another fan-image based on my favorite BSSM character. :)

Given how I'm not as skilled as others are, whether it be figure (or model)-customizing, or image-customizing, I decided to do my best on making a "Sailor V Gundam" out of this promotional image of this GFF figure (since I don't have my own). And here we go! Now, it's obvious my suckiness shows around the shoulder armor and a couple of other places (as well as a lack of additions of more colors to be more accurate to the image of Sailor V, but it's close enough, as the the anime--and Naoko Takeuchi at one point in her first SM artbook--chose not to be so accurate either, and I'm fine with either version).

Here's the changes I made to the figure part of the image: I modified the colors of the "shoes" (feet) as well the "band" area of the upper-left "leg" so it would be blue. The front part of the skirt armor is now completely white (there was some red in it) for more consistency of Sailor V's uniform (though some blue should've been splashed to make it more so), the green jewel of the front bow is now yellow as well as the "bands" near the "elbow" (representing the border of Sailor V's gloves). The collar now has a red outline instead of white, obviously the shoulder armor is now grayish-white (but should be white). The eyes and secondary camera are now blue instead of green, the vulcan cannons now a gunmetal grey (they were originally red to represent Sailormoon's jewels on her odango), and I extensively spliced and modified the front bow to add the trademark red bow of Sailor V's/Minako's.

I decided to put one of Naoko's artwork of Sailor V in it for comparison, in the case anyone who doesn't know anything about "Codename: Sailor V" or "Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon" views this going, "What the hell...?". Plus, it looks less plain with Minako in that image. Not the first time I paired her with Nobel Gundam, either. :)
The logo is from the newer reprints of the CNSV manga, and the "Gundam" title just below it to make the other half of the logo is spliced and modified from the "Mobile Suit Gundam: Battlefield Record 0081" title.

Gundam (and everything seen as well as mentioned) belongs to Bandai and Sunrise. Gundam Fix Figuration belongs to Bandai too, but special mention to Hajime Katoki; it's his pet project, and he designed Nobel Gundam for the Mobile Fighter G Gundam anime as well.
Codename: Sailor V (and the related character in the picture) belongs to Naoko Takeuchi.

That's a very cute Gundam.

I often wonder too long I believe that Sailor Jupiter is Second in commend because of the name Jupiter being roman king of the gods and astronomy saying that the planet is very big and has a powerful gravity field and those who get near it will be crushed to death and that includes super heroes even a Sailor Scout like Sailor Jupiter herself but someone disagreed and said it is Sailor Venus who was.

So will the manga that was English translated of both that of Sailor V and Sailor Moon as well as the new translatation deal on blu-ray and DVD which from Warner Bros have the physical proof that I've been seeking?
